I love the Daiso in La Mirada, but this Irvine location is apparently employing the Soup Nazi’s cousin. We grabbed a small cart to buy end-of-school goody bag treats for my nephew. We were browsing the toy aisle and hadn't placed anything inside yet. An employee marched up, asked if we were using the cart, and when we said yes, she snatched it away and snapped, "No, not for you!" It was so absurdly hostile that other shoppers stopped and laughed. It’s hard to buy things when management repos your cart mid-aisle. We walked out empty-handed. If you don't care about your customers, you don't get our money. We’ll gladly take our business back to La Mirada, where cart privileges aren't revoked without warning.

This is a Japanese supermarket filled with all kinds of containers, fresh flowers, and decorative items. Most of these items are small and delicate, with exquisite designs. As an art student, this is one of the few supermarkets that truly delights me.

I wish I could place 0 star or even negative for this store. Very bad experience, they force me to by some items because my little girls (2+ years old) has huge and bite the tag, these items have no damage at all but I have to pay for both items. They do not have any notice for customer to aware of this policy at all

I want to share my experience here. I shopped here for more than 6years. I never returned products and refunded money, too. BTW!!!! THEY ARE VERY STRICT FOR RETURN AND REFUND!!!’ Very careful to get your items’ They don’t even give you to exchanges, too!!! Even same price!!! I didn’t ask them for money back or return, either. They said it’s their rules. The worker ignored me. And, walked away. Big disappointed. 😔

A good place for window shopping. It is clean and have lots of Japanese products. We went for stationary items. But they have very less options. We may go again before the next school year starts. Kids were very excited before going there but not thrilled after the shopping.

This is a huge Daiso, the aisles are large and very comfortable to walk around, especially in these Covid times. They have a large selection of everything for the house so you can spend a couple hours shopping here.
